Vibration test

Partial certification program

Vibration test requirements

UN38.3 certification

The cell and battery are firmly mounted on the table of the vibrating table. The vibration is in the form of a sine wave, increasing from 7 Hz to 200 Hz, and then reducing back to 7 Hz for one cycle, one cycle lasting 15 minutes before the logarithm Transfer. The logarithmic sweep is: from 1 Hz to maintain a maximum acceleration of 1 gn until the frequency is 18 Hz, then maintain the amplitude at 0.8 mm (total offset of 1.6 mm) and increase the frequency until the maximum acceleration reaches 8 gn (frequency approx. At 50 Hz, the maximum acceleration is maintained at 8 gn until the frequency is increased to 200 Hz. One of the directions of vibration must be the vertical sample polarity, and each cell is cycled 12 times from three mutually perpendicular directions, 3 hours in each direction for 9 hours. The open circuit voltage after the sample test shall not be less than 90% of the open circuit voltage before the test. This requirement does not apply to fully discharged batteries and cells. Results: no leakage, no venting, no disintegration, no cracking, and no occurrence of ignition.

UL certification

The battery was tested at an ambient temperature of 20 ° C ± 5 ° C. The battery was subjected to a simple harmonic motion (1.6 mm maximum total offset) with an amplitude of 0.8 mm. The frequency is changed between 10HZ and 55HZ at a frequency change of 1HZ per minute, and the time is not less than 90Min to 100Min. The battery was tested in three mutually perpendicular directions. For batteries with only two axes of symmetry, they must be tested perpendicular to each axis of symmetry.
Result: No fire, no explosion, no leakage.

CQC certification

After the battery is fully charged according to the charging procedure specified by the manufacturer, it is fastened to the vibration test bench for sinusoidal vibration testing. The battery was cycled 12 times in each of the X, Y, and Z directions, and the total cycle time was 3 hours in each direction.
Cylindrical and coin-type batteries were tested for vibration in both the axial and radial directions, and the square and flexible packaging batteries were subjected to vibration tests in three mutually perpendicular directions.
Result: No fire, no explosion, no leakage.

CB certification

After the battery is fully charged according to the charging procedure specified by the manufacturer, it is fastened to the vibration test bench for sinusoidal vibration testing. The battery was cycled 12 times in each of the X, Y, and Z directions, and the total cycle time was 3 hours in each direction.
Result: No fire, no explosion, no leakage.
