Certification body issues renewed certificate with unchanged certificate number after document verification. The same regulation is applicable for name modification of applicant or product brand manufacturer.

5. Solutions for Expiring CCC Battery Certificate

China CCC battery certificate is valid for five years; renewal application shall be submitted no later than 90 days prior to expiry date.

• Standard Renewal: No product specification or standard upgrade → document review only, new certificate issued with identical certificate code.
• Special Renewal: Historical product alterations recorded → supplementary differential tests per GB 31241-2022 are required.
