To further strengthen the quality and safety supervision of electric bicycles, on June 25, 2024, in accordance with the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation, the State Administration for Market Regulation decided to implement Compulsory Product Certification (CCC Certification) management for lithium-ion batteries and chargers for electric bicycles. On July 2, 2024, it officially issued the Announcement On Implementing Compulsory Product Certification Management for Lithium-Ion Batteries and Chargers for Electric Bicycles.
